Rapid Access allows walk-in assistance without an appointment for program intake (registration). In this first session, the intake and initial clinical assessment will be completed. A therapy service will be scheduled within 10 days of the walk-in session, if recommended.
We help adults, including pregnant women, struggling with addiction and women and children with emotional disturbances. We have drug courts in Hampton and Newport News, provide Peer Recovery Services, Medication Assisted Treatment, and outpatient counseling services for those struggling with both substance use and co-occuring (MH) disorders.
We provide emergency response, crisis intervention services, and jail-based assistance. We also offer community response to persons experiencing mental health crises, in conjunction with the City of Newport News first responders, and operate a 24-hour crisis stabilization unit.
We provide youth and family counseling, therapy, and crisis services to children and adolescents. We specialize in child psychiatry services and provide community support such as case management and therapeutic mentoring.
We provide case management services to children and adults who have a developmental disability. We also offer residential and day support services to those with a diagnosed developmental disability.

We provide a wide variety of outpatient mental health support including counseling and medication management and employ a full complement of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and nurses.
We provide planning services for those exiting State psychiatric facilities, supervised housing, and case management services for mentally ill persons. We also support homeless adults in our community who suffer from mental illness.
